Been looking at ML Merc's for some time now and I'm now seriously thinking about buying one. Seen a 270 CDI, 2000 'X' plated, 90k with full Merc history, dark blue so the right colour, fully loaded with the chrome pack inc wheel carrier and side runners. £10k buys it.

Do I sell my S1 ? I can't have both..............click the link in my sig for pics of the S1. Honest and sensible views welcome.

Ta.

Why an ML? Those sort of cars do nothing for me whatsoever.

Also, couldn't be more different from your S1.

I would say yes though....

NOOOO the M class is horrible, I hate it. The car isnt even that good to drive anyway. If you are looking to spend £10k on a car, you could have something soo much nicer. Does it have to be 4x4?

I just like the ML's.....I'm not looking to change for any reason as such, just like ML's. If I decide not to buy one the S1 will stay.

I was at the motorshow when they launched the ML & thought i've got to have one!!

I bought one.............................................. sold it 6 weeks later as i fookin hated the thing

I have been thinking of buying another 4x4 now for a while BUT i'd only buy an Audi Q7 or a Range Rover sport.

They're horrible to drive apparently. I know a few who have driven them. They dont even look that good.

Keep the S1. Much better.

Personally i would say it depends how much joy you get from the S1

If you only drive it now and then and do alot of mile munching in the focus then sell up and buy the ML

You can always sell it ans buy another S1.

Or

sell the focus, get a loan for the ML and try it for 6 months, if you like it,selll the s1 and pay off the loan. may cost a few hundred more but atleast you will be sure, who knows, you may find away to keeps the s1
