Default URGENT help required with injectors.....

Ok, ive found out why my cossie is running like a pile of shite.

One of the injectors has died (yellows), and i wanted to get it up and running tonight as i can get it MOT'd tomorrow for the weekend.

Now, i have here a replacement set of dark greens, as i have a T34 conversion now.

If i was to put in my greens, and turn the fuel pressure down, would i be able to run them? or do you think it will still overfuel?

I have a CO2 meter here i can set it with, and also a wideband to check its ok on the road. I cant go above 3k anyway as im running in.

Cheers for any help
Mike

the car will start and run, but turning the fuel pressure down is not the way to do it... engine damage wouldnt be to far away

sure someone on here would have a standard injector kicking about..

i have a set of blues from a 4x4

Nothing a hammer cant sort out. That tool is a god send!

Thanks to Dan @ Rapidford for the suggestion of "hitting the fuck out of it" to some description.

Cheers!

No I didn't say "hit the fuck out of it" I said "tapping it hard with a spanner might wake it back up sometimes the fuel sticks it closed"

Glad it helped though
