Been listening to the news last day or so, and a letter has been sent to a local newspaper stating the exact whereabouts of where her body is buried.

Apparently its the SAME person sending the letter that told the police last year the location.

I hope the family finally get closure on this tragedy.

I know its a really harsh thing to say but maybe thats for the best. Dont get me wrong. I got 2 kids and would be upset beyond words if the shoe was on the other foot, but what that poor girl may have gone through at that age is tragic in itself. She will never be able to live a normal life. Sory if i cause offence but i DONT mean it in a 'dont give a shit way'.

This is supposedly very common practise. They checked on her every half an hour, it wasn't that they just left her. Some hotels have baby monitors in the rooms, and if they hear a baby crying, they can infrom the parents/check on it themselves.

I agree the parents are totally to blame, my local shop is a 5 min round trip walking and i wouldnt leave my 5 & 7 yearold alone whilst i went to the shop, my 2 arent allowed out on the front with out myself or my wife watching over them, i guess her parents thought that cause they were out of the uk there would be no pervs waiting in the shadows for someone to make the mistake they did, im sorry it's a tradgedy what has happend to Maddy but the parents are ultimately to blame.

 

If the parents had been 2 unemployed layabouts from Glasgow then I'm sure the press would have reacted differently. Saying how stupid they were and they should be charged and all the rest of it. The fact that these 2 people are both professionals means that IMO they have received a far too easy ride. As Charlie says, lets hope she turns up alive and well, who knows some poor women who's child has just been run over might have nicked maddie to replace her kid in some sort of weird mentally reduced state, and since then maddie might have been having the time of her life.

I would like to see them held accountable in a court of law and to explain to a judge why they felt its acceptable to leave their children who ARE NOT capable of looking after themselves to go off and enjoy themselves leaving 3 toddlers unattended .

To explain why they chose to decline the use of a child minding service if its true about that facility being available to them .

To explain why they left the appartment the kids were in , unsecure to enable the abduction of said little girl .

Now , IMO opinion they must have been doing this quite regularly and must have established some pattern in this routine , and not just on that night but previous nights also hence some sick fucker noticing it and acting upon the parents disregard for the safety of their kids .

I do not think a life time of guilt is acceptable IMO , they had a responsibilty to protect that girl from all harm as we both do our kids do we not ? Not to just fuck off out for a meal , and Im sorry but the excuse of needing some alone time would not fucking cut it either . If they wanted alone time then they should have left the kids at home or paid for the child minding agent or simply not have left the kids unattended its that simple for me .

I wont even leave my kid in a locked car whilst i can clearly see him when paying for petrol , maybe thats being over protective , but as a parent thats my god given right to guide and look after them until they are of an age they no longer need my looking after ( if that ever comes )

As for the kids that are left , they have already failed in their duty to protect their kids once so who knows what should happen next IMO of course
