I got a phone call from my bank today.

They have previously sent me a letter saying my new overdraft will be sorted out and running on the 21st September,

Today they phoned me to tell me that on the 20th September my account went overdrawn by......wait for it ....59p!! For this, bearing in mind that its now covered by the overdraft easily, they want to charge me £28.50!!!

F****** rip off banks!! i hate em!

 

Standard thing mate, hence why u are asking for an overdraft? Happend to my bird also not long back, they let her off, they usually do first time round, dunno

 

all you can do it kick up a fuss and complain... they might let you off to shut you up.


thats the kinda thing they do on purpose tho just so they make money from charges

 

same happened to me,also they rang me up advising me to get a loan from them to pay off my credit card as they said i was paying a lot of interest,and if i took the loan i would be paying half the interest i was now,i got the paperwork through and the interest for the loan was 20% i can get one from tescos for 7.5%
never get a loan from your bank
