Default URGENT HELP REQUIRED - Fiesta Turbo Not Sparking

Right my fiesta turbo has decided to stop sparking, it cut out when i was driving home the other night. I have recently raised the boost to 15psi, and when you try and hold the power down it was cutting out. Now it wont spark.
Ive changed the coil pack, and the cps sensor but still luck.

Could it be the ecu maybe, im not sure if its standard or not so could that be whats cut the spark out?????

Any help will be appreciated.

check the wiring to the CPS and also on the EDIS plug.
might even be the edis it self.

also check the green relay in the fuse box

Ah, this old chestnut.

As said by jayrs, check everything he's mentioned. Mines at the auto electricians atm with the same problem.

Probably CPS wire has melted. Usually is the cause. Also the wiring looms on these cars are now 15+ years old so are more than likely battered

yeah ive tried everything now except the ECU, all the wiring looks ok and ive cleaned all the electrical plugs. I was thinking it may have been the alarm but the way it cut out is making me think different. It was when i was driving at full boost it cut out, and i beleive that a standard ECU should not run more than 8 psi where mine was running 15psi for a little while before this happend, could this of fried the ECU??

I very much doubt it's the ECU.

Have you used a multimeter to check for a CPS signal whilst cranking at the EDIS pins? I'd put money on the CPS or wiring being faulty.

if its still not sparking, and your getting a reading from 1 end to the other of the cps wire, then the problem is got to be ecu or fuse/relay.
take the ecu plug off and have a look for any bad pins.

oh, 1 question why i think about it, you havent got the injector loom plug and car-ecu loom plug round the wrong way have you? there the same size and shape and ive known someone do it before

nah mate its not chipped, thats why i was thinking it was the ECU be knackered, because it was running 15psi before it died and i thought a standard ECU wouldnt let you run that much boost.

thats about the max it will run, well depending if ita a ofab or ofac.

if you have changed all the bits for known working bits and checked and wd40'ed all the plugs etc then the last resort is the ecu or fuse box problem

cant remember if i have asked, are you getting a reading at the cps wire?

stupid question, you are running with a EFI fly wheel ?
