Default 4X4 Cosworth TCA

Has anyone fitted non cosworth 4x4 tca's to a cosworth i.e XR4X4 ones,
i think they are just slightly shorter than proper cosy arms.

Has anyone fitted them and have they been ok.

I had similar discussions with a major aftermnarket supplier a year or so ago, as they list cossie arms as normal sierra.
What they told me was that all sierra arms are the same length, just cossie and 4x4 have stronger joints, but theirs are all made to the stronger spec.

i think they are defo shorter, by 4-5 ml. I took the old arms out, put them either side of a new one, put a bolt through where the pivot bolt goes and a metal rule across the base of the ball joints and there is a gap between the new arm ball joint and the rule.

but when using the wheel alignment equipment at work i found that the new arms must be shorter as it improved the camber of the wheels and moved it from a negative camber to bang on to manufactures spec.
