Because of all the dicks on my street parking and leaving gaps just too small to fit my car in, i got VERY agro lastnite. I was tired, hungry and really didnt wanna go space hunting. I decided, like a cock-jockey, to nail it down my street and do a 1 point turn with the aid of the handbrake.

Then, when I went to set off, it felt like the handbrake was still on a little. Drove to my mates ouse and it did feel like it was dragging a little but there is no noise, could smell sommat strange tho, might have been the shoes binding???

What do i do???

Jack it up and see how it free wheels compared to the other?? Do you think its safe to go on the m/way at 5pm?? Whats the worst that can happen??

Please help before I get a hammer out and hit something

 

The only things I've damaged by yanking the handbrake are the cylinders. Are you dropping any fluid?

 

Erm, dont think so, havent had a look to be honest. it felt ok on the drive to work, if a very tad hesitant when letting it free-roll to a stop

yeah cylinders have a tendancy to pop if they are old, dead cheap and easy to replace though
