Default My mighty oil pressure

Just fitted my new oil pump and on start up im getting 105 psi


My old one only gave me 55 when i started it

My car sounds so much better its unbeleivable, plus i had a small oil leak that came fom the front of my sump and its now gone, oil free and leak free with a brand new turbo fitted too


Im as happy as a pig it shite

where did u get the pump from?sounds like a good buy

Yeah, before the rebuild it was 60psi using 10w/60 and now its sat at 60 cold using 10w/40 (still on running in oil as only done approx 100mile). Upgrade time then eh lol

mine reads 60 aswell on idle on startup,is this good or bad?using mobil 1 motorsport 15w40 at the minute

mines reads 85 on cold start.

Has it always been 60?

if the press doesnt gradually drop then I would think it will be ok...

its always been 60,it drops when it gets hot alright,doesnt seem to use an awful lot of oil anyway,so i'd say its prob ok?what oil do you use yourself?

Mines the same...doesnt use any oil (for a yb that is lol)...alwasy has been, on two engines. Must just be a standard pumps quota then..

Yes mate when i used to start it it could be a little tappy not to bad but i could hear it, now its just silent
