As title I have been ripped off by a bloke called "A. Patel" who allegedly lives in Northampton. I have the address to which I sent the money but dont want to openly post here.

I also have a telephone no. but this does not exist.

Does anyone have access to electoral register or some other way of tracking this dude down.

Failing that - anyone live in Northampton who would drive past this address and let me know what is there - shop/house/derilict ruin!! etc

Any help appreciated as struggling to get anywhere thru ebay

how did you pay? and how much/what was it for?

 

It was just over a hundred quid and paid by personal cheque hence the address.

It would appear from his feedback on ebay i'm not the only person he's ripped off.

can u not cancel the cheque?? call up ur bank and cancel it?

 

its probably been cashed. can you not report it to the pigs and get them to find out the details of the person who cashed it? assuming your bank wont just tell you that is?

 

Still should of checked the feedback for items he sold for clues, im no detective but i dont get robbed by ebayers, lol

he says it was for over £100 and its a princapal thing surely.wether they rip you off for 10p or 10k there still trying to pull a fast one
