Default inner drive shaft joint

iv got a series 2 rst,iv got a noise coming from the front end whilst driving sounds just like a worn wheel bearing iv replaced both front wheel bearings but still got the noise, one of the inner drive shaft boots has slit could it of dried up of grease and be worn.

possibly, but unlikely.

I'd say personally its more likely to be the outer CV joints, but don't quote me.
