Help with cosworth Charge temp sensor
my ka has a cvh turbo with cosworth management and all the sensors
recently i have been experiencing problems with my ka backfiring, so ive been trying trace the problem,
ive replaced the plugs, the cap and rotor checked the leads and coil etc, but what was strange was it backfired a few times one night and even got to the point of cutting out, then i test drove it and it was fine, then a few days later is came back, so i kept looking,
i found a dodgy connection on the air charge sensor, the plastic piece was missing which locks it in, so i started the car and fiddle with the connection with it connected it was running lumpy without it, it ran alot smoother,
has anyone had any problems with these sensors? is it possible to test them as a new one isnt cheap
many thanks

Just plug your car up to a Pectel Monitor (with someone experianced) so you can find out everything thats wrong with the running. At the same time you can datalog the events and view them or compare them at a later date.
