Hi, I know i am being a dumbass here but what size speakers will fit in the rear holes of ma GTI?
The fool who had the car before me took out the components (now have holes where tweeterswere) and replaced them with these cack little 10cm pioneers that are too small for the holes and are just sitting on the boot trim below the holes!

 

I think they are a funny size oval speaker. Don't put components in the back. In all fairness you don't really want much treble at all in the back. Get a decent 5ź" component set for the front and either don't bother with the back or just put some custom fit Infinity jobbies in.

 

A good plan, but I will be left with tweeter holes!? Guess il have to get up the scrappy then!

They are a funny oval shape but i spose if i dont want them I can get an aapter plate to fit round ones!?

 

Yep sure can mate think the adapters are about Ł15.

Like you say nip to the scrappy and pick up a pair of new trim panels. Should only cost a couple of quid

 

ive got custom fit mb quartz ones.says that are custom fit for mondeo and other fords.ther 5x8.if u wanna make an offer feel free.
