Default Temp troubles

Right just got back from a good old thrash in the car as the weathers so nice (bout time)

But i noticed that my tempratures been kinda high, felt the fans cut in a couple of times when drivin, (is this normal) my car been off the road 4 bout 8 months havin a referb, in this time if fitted new hoses n ally rad, cant really remember it runnin this hot b4 but i have been beastin it lately

I dont think its the head gasket as this was done bout 7000miles ago, and its not showin any of the usual signs like oil in the water n boilin over header tank, i also drove 2 manchester n back last weekend (mainly off boost) n it didnt once get 2 hot,

Any chance it could b the thermostat?

Cheers jay

Probably just the weather, if it is not overheating I would not worry yet as the fans are supplying suffecient cooling.

Mine did the same recently, just started reading a little higher up the gauge than normal, turned out the thermostat wasn't opening.

Now it's overheating because the fans aren't coming on AGAIN! So back in the garage this week
