back last year this is how my rs2000 looked at brands hatch and this was my daily driver.

not long after that i thought it would be a good idea to make it into a pure track car and tbh i think i went abit ott

in short the car was at one point not even a rolling shell
i spent plenty of late nights at work sorting out the shell ect before i could go any further and like most projects i spent months without even touching it
just after the new year i finally started putting things back on the car with plenty of new parts in the mix.
new roll cage and another trial fit of my wheels

then after another couple of months i finally moved the car home to pride of place on my driveway where she is today and now things are really moving nicely

last week a spent abit of time on refurbing my rear wheels which i think looks the bollocks

and with more parts ect on the cars starting to look like a car rather than a shell

cheers guys.
when i was using my rs2k on track last year and the year before i dont recall seeing that many but theyre are getting some popularity now as they can be bought cheap and dont much has to be done to be quick
marco i have the rear suspension on the car and it dont move lol, i`ll sort the front out when the engine is ready to drop in so the whole front end will be done as one.

Hi shaun about time you treated yourself to another track car for me to beat
i was going to break it but after getting messed around on a couple of bits i just thought i do really want to do this
so i said fuck it and started putting in some effort and shes coming on good, just ordered some gaskets and bits from fords and i could have my engine ready to go in around the time we go to brands for the dtm
Dan hows your rs2k going mate???

heres a couple more pics for you

the pen is only there so you can see just how big the cone is
my new induction hose which fits the big throttle body perfect and my two new gauges (oil temp and water temp)

this is a genuine cossie bonnet but the vents are not and will be replaced as and when, it has a few dents in it but nothing serious plus it getting painted anyway so its no big deal, not bad for 120 quid though

Lookin good, how did you get on with the car when you last done a track day? The reason i ask is that im off to the 'ring soon and just wonder what to expect from my motor, and what to watch out for!
