while in town the other day i walked past the honda garage. I only glanced at the new type R on the front and the next thing i knew i was test driving it. Don't no what came over me. must admit really nice to drive and lot less rattley to drive than my series 2. But it didn't give me the smile factor my S2 does. Any one else drove one?

 

Yep me about 3 weeks and only because i know they are good cars and i get discount! But after spending the morning in my 200bhp erst the type r was pants and well slow.

 

agreed they do seem slow. we have a monster powered S2 round here & i'm sure the type R would be no competition!

 

yeah my escort is 196bhp and its loads quicker. must admit though seemed nice driving something new and probably trouble free. It will never replace my rs though.

Agree turbo cars are simple awsome when tuned!

But the Type R is new , Still give me a Foucs RS anyday!
