just after a bit of advice really got caught by the one of those mobile speed cameras (van) i requested photo evidence because i didnt remember going through it ive had them through and where it parks there are white lines in the road but its got me from a distance before i went over the white lines can i fight it or have they got me? any advice would be great cheeRS

 

they dont need the white lines mate unfortunently. i am sure some1 on here maybe able to help you more.

i thouht they needed the white lines as reference point.

you know the whole triangle thing, distance divided by time equals speed or some bollocks.

probably wrong, been nearly ten years since college.

 

they do it on lasers now... like the laser guns, but they take a picture with a read out on it instead...

there was sumit on the telly bout them a while back a it was sayin that when the point the gun things at the car the are pionted at the wrong bit they are supposed to point at the number plate an keep it poinit there but mostof them point it at the bonnet so it make a false readin makin look like you were goin faster than you actualy were

never heard back from them

years and years ago this was so they might have brown a braincell or 3 y now

 

There are legal challenges which are VERY succesful, there is a website dedicated to this, will dig it out for you, but if I forget PM me.
As said the white lines are for static cameras which are not as sophisticated, and they are getting blown down with thermite, shit no not yet but soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
