Default Just bough our first flat ! scary !

As above me and my girlfriend amanda oops "fiance" just bought our first place today , just a 2 bedroom flat , realy nice and is only 1.5 years old too , feels so weird but hopefully iL enjoy being skint all the time moving in on the 27th july and am excited but crapping my pants

Planning to stay there for at least 3 years, mainly just to get on the propery ladder as its almost getting out of reach for the first time buyers

As above - I know what that feels like. I moved into my first place, 2bed house, beginning of April

Skint as fuck, but in a good way If that makes sense

Soooooooooo nice coming home after a hard/shit day and not having anyone in the gaff to bug you! Peace n quiet, my mates can pop over anytime they want (so long as they bring beer lol) and I can just chill

Just wait to you start doing "the shop" - when you go Tesco/Sainsbury/Asda/whatever for the first time and realise all the little nick-nacks you didn't rwelise you hadn't got

Spent over a grand on stuff in my first month - not slowing down a whole lot now either

Good luck in your new home

I've just got my first house by myself, I love it, but I've had to use loads of my holidays waiting in for bloody gas men, electricians, plasterers, etc

Cheers peeps

Yeah john its good to get on as early as possible really , wish i had done it 3 years ago tbh i really do , but least thats it now and just need to get into it and see how it goes, the missus is already planning this and that for it and shes of her head already , basically i think , flat screen , lickof paint , ps3 and lie and play it in my y-fronts tbh , but shes got way differnent ideas

Its all good though and gives her something to do now as we were working and still living at home , its not a good look tbh

kitchenware is simple
go to ikea, buy 4 of the following:
big plates
small plates
big bowls
small bowls
knifes
forks
big spoons
small spoons

and thats your cutlery sorted for about Ł3

don't forget that if you are going to be sharing it with your mrs then why do you need to go and get mega expensive stuff? if you want to do that go the resteraunt every evening and use their fancy plates and spoons

more el cheapo house buying tips to follow tesco's toothpaste and stuff thats on offer always saves a few quid, just make sure you need it first and have space to put it, just because they are flogging 24 pack walkers for Ł2 doesn't mean you hsuld be buying 5 packs, like me

Its actually not too bad its only 1.5 years old so fixtures are all practically new, and the kitchen stuff is combined into the cupboards if that makes sense , like open a cupboard and heh its a fridge same with dish washer and washing machine ,and this is all staying and so is the cooker as its the same idea sort of , the bathrooms minted , tiled from top to bottom with shower and bath , real wooden floors in hallway etc , doors are all minted as well , so not a great deal to do maybe lick of paint here and there as its neutral colours wont be too bad

Shit listen to me
