Default HANKOOK RS2 Z 212 ??

Anyone had any experience of these? Seems to go for ok money, i.e £49 a corner from Camskill, anyone used them? I want a decent track day tyre and coming in at just under £200 for 4 tempts me..

Any good?

i use RS2's on my cossie for trackdays with out any complants.


as for the size, 215-40-17's, i had the choice of r888's or these.

Correct that they wasnt Hankook it was Khuno but same website

It was listed on Camskill website as a "trackday tyre" you see... Track day tyres are bloody expensive really

Fiesta is on the list for the 6 pot upgrade so maybe yes, but no rush at the minute.

theres also another tyre called a kuhmo ku15 which is similar to this one. they are rather cheap from ears motorpsort

Everyone spends sooooo much time and building their car to a spec they want, engine, brakes, suspension, safety items etc, then they go out and find the cheapest range of tyres they can

Yokohama Pradas if you can get them mate, I fitted them to my Comps for the track day I did over in France this weekend just gone & I was very impressed with them - very predictable breakaway when they do go but also very sticky once warm!!!

But I'd expect the cheapest of "track" tyres to be as good as any road tyre....

There is a world of difference between a road tyre suitable for track, and a track tyre suitable for road.

One comes from the motorsport side of a company and the other from the road side.

Maybe NIMRODS RST can tell us which side they come from ?

they mainy come from the motorsport side, when they first release these they were aimed at road legal motors running drift,drag,time attack events but motorsport MD my boss couldn't be arsed to promote these to busy with the rallying side of things but what i have heard they are a good track tyre and a very good road tyre but won't get much mileage out of them here's abit of a spec
