get a fuckin grip man! United got mauled by Milan....Liverpool showed how to play against them, we only lacked that finishing touch, we were the better team by far.

Don't go showing off your pictures, you are behind Liverpool, that is for certain....once you overtake us as the most succesful club then your 'gloating' will be more justified...til then just button it.

United SHIT!!!!

It makes no odds where it was played really does it? next you'll be saying how your squad was depleted etc etc blah blah blah

not upset tbh, proud of how we played, we were poor in front of goal, but overall we were the better team that's for certain, i guess i know how Bayern Munich feel now don't i?

Regardless of what you say, we are still NUMERO UNO, and that REALLY pisses you off

Budweis, as i said everyone knows how much an advantage it is playing at home. Tonight it was all fair, neutral ground and you were beaten. I don't see how the two games compare. Trying to say how well you did in comparisson, honestly.

Don't shunt it onto us, we've had a great season. You put all your eggs in on basket and fluffed it.

You've won fuck all, you've won fuck all, in 2007 you won FUCK ALL.

It can be an advantage yes, but it's not really that decisive....we lost to Barcelona at home, but beat them in the Nou Camp.....we lost tonight that's obviously true, but we were never at any point outclassed.

The build up has said how Kaka will murder us, how Seedorf will run us ragged, how Gattuso will rip us apart.....were those 3 even on the pitch??

to me it's as simple as this, Liverpool were the 2nd best team in Europe this season, possibly even the best, obviously the result says we can't be the best but i believe we are equally as good as milan at the very very least.

Domestically we have been a bit poor, the slow start cost us again and we never had a chance of catching up, hopefully next season this will change. If we'd have had some of United's luck i'm sure we'd have been closer, but that's for another day lol.

i look forward to next season, i really do!

You my friend...talk absolute fucking shit. Why the fuck cant you admit it?You are shite.Do you think you would have been in the final if you were chasing the league?Would you fuck. You set your stall out at the start of every season. You aim for 3rd/4th place. You are not even the best team in your own counry,so how the fuck can you be the second best team in Europe.

Milan battered us.They were shit tonight and they still beat you.You had your chances, but that overated bag of wank ruined it.

They derseved it.You didnt, nobody deserves to win the European Cup who plays boring shit football all the way through the season.I suggest you write to Rafa and ask him to get into the transfer market.Because you need to win the league first to be even considered one of the best in Europe

When the facts and tactics of ManUre's European campaigns are taken into account, Manure, boasting two of the best young players in Europe and one of the world’s best defenders, still cannot win away from Old Trafford. Fergie's team have slipped to defeat in three of their last four Champions League away matches and eight of the previous 13 games.

How long does Fergie keep chasing the dream? How long do United let him chase it? One Final in 21 years under Fergie is pathetic. Are they content with just domestic dominance or do they really want to move to the next higher level? The crushing reality for United fans is that things appear to have come full circle and in Europe at least, United are chasing Liverpool again.

you could see milan nicking a goal though from the start. liverpool were all over them but playing kuyt up on his own and playing gerrard out of position again just seemed like a negative tactic. and how the fuck did harry kewell get in the squad after playing 46 mins of football all season. think his only 2 games for liverpool have been in the chamopions league final

gotta admit it was an awesome game, not like that shower of shit at wembley on saturday. and there supposed to be the best 2 teams in the league???

i just dont get liverpool though. in europe they are an awesome team who've ripped apart some of the biggest in the land the last few seasons yet in the premiership they dont produce the goods. i dont think its cos they only go for the champions league though. maybe next season now they got a few quid to spend you'll see them a bit better and able to push into the top 2 in the premiership too. think it needs another few teams coming through to challenge for it.

Liverpool's lack of having any 'good' strikers that can be lethal in the box has been their downfall.

Luckily next season that will be sorted

Personally I'm a Leeds fan and I'm actually pretty gutted for Liverpool. I don't think they deserved to get beat, but I did have to question the inclusion of Zenden who just looked a complete liability.

I think that Rafa should have swallowed his pride and changed the team at half time rather than leaving it late and making his subs the way he did. If you must play a lone striker then wouldn't he have been better playing Bellamy for his pace and ability to chase onto through balls?

That's just my opinion but I am genuinely gutted for you lot and wish you all the best for next season. Hopefully you'll break the hold of the Blue Scum and the Red Scum on the league.

Redkop you've gotta point but then the other argument to that is you shouldnt be disappointed that you didnt win as in a way your sayin your team aint good enough to be in that position in the first place. tactics were wrong. substitutions were late and wrong imo. bellamy should have got a run out i thought for zenden at half time and just riled a few of their boys up.

I'm not too disappointed we lost, as the team played well and better than AC Milan did especially in the first half, so I am proud of them. The flukey, deflected 1st goal was the killer just before half-time and Liverpool didn't seem to start the 2nd half with the same flair after that.

Most LFC fans will agree with me regarding the lack of good strikers. Zenden was very poor and Crouch was brought on too late.

Can you take out 5 of those years please..seeing as all English clubs were banned from 1985 to 1990

I'm very happy with our domestic dominance, thanks. 9 Premiership titles out of 15 with the % of the others in runners-up isn't bad. 3 Premiership winning teams built over that period.
Yes getting some better European results would be nice to go with it, but not everyone can do the Prem/Euro double or treble for that matter every year.
Why has it come full circle? Liverpool are STILL playing catch up on United no matter how many Euro cups you may get as you cannot get the league form you all want. Last title you won was in 1989/90 season. Read it again and let it sink in exactly how long ago that was... 17 years !!
Getting close to that "26 years" bollox city and Liverpol fans always used to crow about the last time Utd won the league.
Since you last won the title you have 3 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 1 Uefa Cup and 1 European Cup. Hardly a trophy list of the 'full circle' and Liverpool dominance is it.

We can all list facts and figures Redkop, but face it, since the Prem started United have dominated and only Arsenal and Chelsea more recently have bothered to make a fight out of it.
Forget "well we've won it 5 times". I'm talking recent history, not overall club history.
Since Sir Alex took over we may well have only been to 1 Euro Final (which we won btw), but we have NINE Prem trophies, 5 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 Cup-Winners Cup and 1 European cup in that time. I don't think that's a bad tally overall do you ???

After the passionford v Luciano thread LFC V CFC I stayed silent but suffice to say I'm over the moon that you dole cheque claiming thieving scum didn't get your hands on the cup

As I'm an Italian, distant allbeit Milano kicked your northern arses quality goalkeeping by Dida and a couple of great goals by Inzaghi sent you packing back to merseyside empty handed, unfucking lucky

Gonzales and Zenden both on their way 100%
add to that ( IMO );

Fowler
Cisse
Dudek
Riise/Aurelio ( rather keep Aurelio tbh, he has more quality, Riise is shit in all honesty)
Bellamy
Hyppia

Rafa has said he will spend big too, he knows that it's gonna take £20+million quid for the top players, and he will be spending

Times are good right now, i'm not even that gutted about last night, we are going places again

Riise is a fantastic player, my word can that lad hit a ball, and he ain't frightened of no distance to have a pop.

But,

Based on last night's performance I have just one thing to say :

So you bought Kuyt for £10m+ and spent ages telling everyone how this guy would solve this issue, yet you're still going on about lack of goals. Well he got 1 last night, too LITTLE too late! Poor lad, at least he got a losers medal.

The league moved up a level in 1992-93 and became the Premiership, since then it has become the most watched league in the world. Not only do you get the most money from it but its harder to win as Liverpool are finding out. As long as we keep winning leagues i'm happy and boy am i happy this year. How about you?

The season has just finished, trophies and awards are being handed out like sweets, after all the big talk they have nothing to show for it but a losers medal. Stick to championship manager i say. Success in the future looks brighter for you on there.
