I went for a passenger ride in a Ferrari 360 on Saturday night. I have to say, what a gorgeous car, but sadly the owner couldn't drive for toffee.
I had the F1 shift and I think he thought he was playing the Playstation. If each gearshift had cost him £1 he would be skint by now.
Also, he so nearly wiped the front end out as he didn't see a deer in the middle of the road. I didn't say anything as I felt sure that he must have seen it, then about 20ft away I thought I ought to tell him!!
Made me a bit sick really, just because he has had a lucky break, he can jump in a car like that and not really appreciate it. He is only 24!!

end of the day you don't buy a Ferrari because it's the fastest thing on the road... you buy it just... because... You can't get what a ferrari gives u any other way..
The beauty is, you don't need to drive it round fast
Nothing else looks or sounds like them, or has the presence..

I'd rather have a porker tho over a Ferrari
Ferrari (the Rolex of the car world) - works of art / pretty to look at - nothing more. Bought and driven by people that want to buy into some street-cred (the sort that have no idea about cars, but know the name
) - a trinket, like the obligatory trophy blonde that goes with it
.
Porsche (the Omega of the car world) - total track-day / Ring weapons (and properly reliable), will still be going strong at 100k and have been designed and built to travel at excessive speed all day long
. IMO the 911 GT3 RS is the current coolest car in the world, can be tuned to 480bhp and rev to 10,500 in full GT format

what like gareth lloyd??
F40 is the ONLY Ferrari that is different from the rest of the breed, as it was built to go racing
. And you know I'm not just saying that, as I have always said the F40 is cool as fuck, but 360s are just bought as baubles by
people

Rich,
The bill ain't going to be cheap, he hit the armco on the last corner before the exit to the cafe at the mid-point of the track. "Looked" mainly cosmetic, but we couldn't see the extent of the damage due to the position of the car, but even a slow impact with an immovable object is going to cause a hell of a lot of damage
.
Lee,
Even if you GAVE me a Ferrari 360, I would sell it and buy a 911

Just out of interest, which car would you describe as the "Swatch" of performance motoring?
