Mate dont even bother buying this car, it is hideous looking. You will get abused everyday in the street by people if you drive this.

The arches aren't that bad so if you do buy it I hope you'll be ripping off that stoopid spoiler plus bonnet and bumpers whilst you're at it.

Oh my fucking god!! A normal Mk 5 Escort on a J plate is only worth Ł150 but that has been further de valued with all that tat hanging off it.

Remove all the junk off it, sell the alloys on ebay and any other "High value" item and sell the car for a couple of hundred quid....

The advice was simple...
Don't buy it!

If your taking the body kit off, then get a standard 1, put some wheels on it and lower it.

 

why didn't you say about the kit (you shouldn't have to i know) but you do get the odd one i suppose coming in to wind people up

i'm not a die hard fan of Fords
in fact i like the escort cosworths and gt 40 and the 3dr cosworth and rs500 and some classic fords...but i didn't really need to tell you that

Wheels arent bad TBH.

But to take the body back to standard(ish), is gonna be a lot of work.
IMO its not worth bothering with.
You could buy the same car standard in very good nick for less money than it will cost to sort the body out on that.
To take the arches off, source and fit new front and rear bumpers, bonnet and remove the spoiler from the tailgate is a major job, and the car will then need a full paint bar the roof.

If youve already bought it and cant insure it, sell it is my advice.
