Can you get these new ? not original ford ones as they are about £200+ each, but from a motor factor company maybe ?
Any help appreciated!

Yeah, I just mean the wishbones.
I sent an enquiry to http://www.carparts-direct.co.uk and they have come back saying that they can supply me these from £19.99.
Do you think that we are deffinately both talkin about the same thing? I did request "Rear Suspension Arm", wonder if I should have put "Rear Suspension Wishbone" ?
Thanks.

What is the going rate for a second hand pair?
Talking to a bloke at the weekend in Cumbria he wants them off a knackered S2 that i have, plus the rear ARB. Dont know what to ask for them though

This is how I have my poly bushes fitted (wishbone - hub) is this the correct way? Ive been told to weld collets in so the bush is sat in more metal rather than just the thin part of the wishbone?

I think you'll find too much play in that as it is...
Once you bolt the wheel on, you'll probably be able to move it back and forwards with your hands when its jacked up

Marc LJX, Spot on, I can....
so weld on collets to where the wishbone stops, or press in slightly smaller collets that are the full length of the bush? what you reckon? or is their another remedy?
what about the inners? Ive taken the old bushes/collets out, will they need the same treatment?

The inners should be fine.
I once squeezed some powerflex outers through the standard bush outer collet, but they were too tight and mushroomed out of the end
I think your best bet is to weld on an extra short piece of tube where the wishbone stops (As you suggest) but maybe ever so slightly smaller than the diameter of the hole in the wishbone. (So that the bush is tight in the hole, but not so tight as it is distorted.)
If you weld these bits on, they should stop 3mm or so short of the stub axle assembly when it is all bolted up tight. Dont make them too long so that they are pressing on the stub axle assy before the inner sleeve is tight (If you know what i mean).
Good luck
PS i binned my Powerflex ones and got some others that came with outer collets, but i cant remember the manufacturer
