Are 2wd and 4x4 cossie rads the same ?

no mate..the 2wd has lugs on the top of the rad...

they bolt to the car in the same way tho.

no,they have a pipe on them and its in a different place.when i fitted a 4wd engine to my 2wd car i had to design a new coolant system to mate all the bits up!its physically the same dimensions etc and will fit tho.

Requires the relevant model coolant hoses to connect up as well .

i used my mates 2wd rad when mine blew up

alls i had to do was drill 2 holes in the cover so my metal pipe fites to the rad

the rad will bolt up and everything mate, dont know about if your using std intercooler though

4wd doesnt have an extra pipe mate

it looks like it does buts its blanked off

the only difference is the metal pipe that attaches to the rad 2wd is just straight down and 4wd is L shaped

look at alloy rads they are listed for all cosworths not different models

Thats what I thought.I've had a 4x4 saph and a 2wd saph and I'm positive they were both the same

Perhaps theres a difference once the cars came with air-con fitted

nope

even the same with air con cars as the air con rad sits where a 500 cooler would bolt too

you can fit a 4wd rad into 2wd and vive versa
