Default Another begging wanker thread - pledge money now !

OK now we all have our axe's to grind and our crosses to bear our money is taken in various ways...... some of us have rent or morgages while others have family to prvide for and the really unfortunate like myself have both

Over time we have all witnessed people asking for money to pay for work on their car, sometimes this is due to them having champagne ideas and lemonade pockets others have simply not kept within a budget they can afford.

Now like these people im asking for money, but I want to assist a person I have never met but has been an unfortunate victim of pointless vandalism... Im asking for you to pledge some money for SafeChav
Now don't pledge money because you feel sorry for him, please don't pledge money you can't afford... Think of how much time SafeChav has contributed to answering questions and genuinely helping people.... time is money in effect.

So I ask how much is his help, advice or knowledge worth has he been to you ??...

Why should mindless wankers win... it should be SafeChav's choice if he keeps his car... nobody else's

https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=269520

We can harras SafeChav for his details later...make the pledge now, ill start with £20

I totally agree, nobody owes you anything however you contribute your time greatly to assist others, I know you have physically given up your time to help other people...This is time you could spend working to earn money for your car... likewise to obtain the assistance you have given others would cost money.

I greatly dislike decent people suffering from the hands of scum... I hope they get what they deserve and I hope people on this forum ensure you get what you deserve.

FFS we are simply talking about a few pints down the pub, an eighth, a mc-donalds we are talking here.... people can make a difference... you do !

It's also good to send a message to people who don't want anyone to have something nice

i genuinely am shocked and also surprised that so many people are willing to do this!

Im not really one to take peoples money for no reason though......its not anyones fault off here so i dont see why you should all have to chip money, its my problem

Obviously i can't stop people sending money and the last thing i would want is for people to think i'm throwing it back in their faces

I probably saved 20 quid on a fuel relay and 60 quid for an auto spark to diagnose it (amongst other stuff like the alarm, my locks, a duff radiator etc etc), much like plenty of other folk on here who soak up your advice and/or listen to your inane dribbling

Put it that way though and a twenty quids fuck all really

i really am having a moral dilemma with this, ive never been one to take money off people, i can't stand even borrowing money its just the way i am, but i don't want people to think im throwing their generosity back at them either

Diamonds, well looks like i'll be needing 2 doors now if i keep it, as opposed to just the one

its an electric roof but if the roof itself (the vinyl bit) Does it fit on to your car if yours is not elec? if it does its yours mate!

it doesnt leak. one of the seems has undone/split a bit but its not that bad. dunno if you can repair it or not but your more than welcome to have it.

as said you help a lot of people out on here so its only right to give ya something back.

if your interested let me know

mine has a Mk4 roof anyway, ive already been through the ballache of seperating the lining from the frame as the one on it was bent, so i fitted a Mk4 frame and recovered the roof.........

Which brings me onto the next point, theres no way on earth you will remove a vinyl cover from the frame without ripping it

Good lord, not again!

Personally, I think if you accept that money, then you're worse than the people who offered to donate it.

So you've been a victim of car crime? Since when does that qualify someone as a charity case?

If you accept charitable donations because you've been unfortunate then you're a disgrace.

If people have spare parts etc then that's one thing but "donating £20"?

Absolute disgrace that so many people misunderstand the concept of charity. If you had any pride, you'd refuse it on principal.
