Basically, I'm fed up of using the Focus everyday as I have to navigate some right shitty & narrow country lanes, and I want to get something that I don't give a shit about driving hard and bouncing off kerbs when twats in lorries are on my side of the road. It still needs to have a decent turn of speed though, and thus far have narrowed it down to these three choices:

MK3 Golf Gti 16V
Vectra GSi
Escort RS2000

Anyone got experience of the above? And maybe any other cars that'll fit the bill?

 

Out of the 3 cars the escort will be the best all rounder for that ,engines do moon miles with no problems and have a decent bit of grunt

golf and vectra will be heavier on the juice ,vectra will handle like well................ wont suit the roads ur on cos it aint a straight line lol and the v6s do have problems

and the golf although are really nice cars just aint fast at all

 

205 gti - or lesser spec if worried about consumption! ideal work car for almost all purposes!!
