WEll this is how it has sat since Febuary lol

After Alex having his Zvh built by Ian howell @ Area Six years ago and seeing what abuse it stood up to being thrashed over the years and never going wrong - And seeing all the monsters his built - It was time for me to pay him a visit
After a month I collected this
Would have been sooner but was waiting on pistons from america for 2 weeks. It has been sitting in the garage now for over a month collecting dust
Just waiting on a few more bits to be fabricated as being the black top i have to run another pulley for the water pump that usually runs of the power steering on the focus/ mondeo's. Once these bits are back it can go in
Im gagging to get it in and running feels like its been of the road years

Will do some more updates when i get the bits back

Its good that you have pictures of the car when it was standard, I remember when Phil Tomkins bought it off the garage I work for, was a trade in never forget the size of the spot lights
, its good that you have kept'd it looking as it did when he sold it. A stunning car and probably one of the best modified and probably one of the quickest cabby's out there when it comes back out to play. Top work

i havent even finished my turbo yet since restoring it and converting to efi cossie m-ment but seeing this thread and looking at few other bits on the site after has now given me the major wants for a black top zetec lump.
Faye, how much roughly (coz theres loads of choice of spec obviosly) does Ian ask for such a engine build. Pm us, if ya dont fancy putting up prices etc on here

may i ask why you went for the black top zetec? & why dont you just use a silvertop bottom end instead of fitting pulleys to do away with the water pump, as ive just baught an st170 engine but im thinking of doing away with the bottom end & using a silver top 1 instead, any help would be much appreciated
