Ended up with XR running gear, interior etc, tuned carbed 1600, stupidly huge install etc....





My latest daily driver project.....
Recently popped down to London for this one as they're extinct up here!
Got a 90 spec bumper for it to go on, and various other RS/XR bits too... proving ideal for taking on shoots too.

(haven't seen an Escort as solid as it outside a show for years now!)

thats how mines will look but in white with amber indicators and on turbo wheels or escort cossie wheels if a get a set

 

mine started like this 1.3 4speed



then got s1 kit off of paul ripley along with putting complete turbo engine and interior in it



then got it painted



then head gasket went on it so took engine out and got engine bay painted and another better bonnet and 90spec bumper



got wheels painted aswell and did an efi conversion







then last thing was a big intercooler from a landrover and modified cossie fans





latest thing so far while im trying 2 get money 2 get it setup then back on the road was a set of angel eye headlights

Too right! I've always like the slightly oddball variations done up to RS/XR etc spec..... Escort Estates, P100s, Fiesta vans, Orions, etc etc....
Don't see nearly as many of them as you used to now though.

if u meen mine mate i dont know yet im out of work at the moment so havnt got any money and the car needs setting up the exhaust sounds great very throaty for a 3 inch tailpipe much louder than most ive seen even with 4 inch tailpipes

If you're asking about my blue MK3 it's an Orion/S1 grille with the centre slat removed and outer swage line smoothed off.

 

The Estate was my guinea pig for some recent trial snaps, so here it is with its newly added tints and Euro plates

 

theres a combi sitting on a drive way a few doors upfrom me im tempted to knock the door and see what they want for it

 

just deciding what way to go think it will be 15 inch steels wheel trims and a turbo lump. should be a sleeper
