after having to go and pick my car up and pay a £930 bill for it and then to be told it still aint running right has just gutted me and nearly put me off my bloody turbo . but i still have a bit of faith . im now being told the pinking is sorted due to the ecu , but now its misfiring cos they said its running to lean on high boost . low boost 7 psi no probs . but it cant run the 15-16 psi i want it to till the fuel prob is done . so they have said get another metering unit and try that first if it aint that then ive got to get them to put a new fuel pump in and go from there !!!!!!!!!!!

pissed off dont even come close to how i feel . so , has any one got a decent working metering unit . i want one off a chipped car , some thing that was running 15+ psi so i know if they fit it and there is still probs , that it then cant be the metering unit .

really wat did you pay 930 pound for then?

 

poor runner
replaced inlet gasket
replaced injectors
fitted handbrake cable
full tune and set boost

basically i bought the car as a non runner . i was hoping the car would just need a tune but i guess that would have to easy . £318 was the parts and £495 was the labour then whack the Vat on and you get £955 .it wasnt £930 as i thought . and too be fair it could have been loads more due to the amount of time they had to spend on it and various time used on the rollers so im happy to pay it juts wish it was done and runnin perfect

 

hatfield in doncaster woodz?? got a couple you can borrow to try if you like,aswell as ecu's etc

im not far from hatfield (herts) ... ive got a metering unit off my car, the car was chipped and running 21psi with no fueling problems
