Default Question for people with bonnet raisers

just fitted mine and was wondering if any of you lot have done anything to prevent water getting to the battery or fuse box?

doesnt make much difference when the scuttle panel is full of slots anyway does it??

i hated that people pull up at the lights and start waving when ya wind ya window down they tell u your bonnets not shut

then you say no its ok is how its sposed to be they look at you like you just landed here

not a fan of them TBH but surely it does aid cooling? letting all the hot air escape

wouldn't just removing the big rubber seal that meets the back end of the bonnet do the same thing ???? let the air flow....

However, i thought this then ment any fumes/fires (god forbid) in the engine bay would then get pulled into the car though the fan. Or am i takling cr#p as usual.
