Default Cheap Temporary Insurance wanted ?

Anyone recommend any one ? Basically i need cover on a car i'm selling, basically so i can park it on street with a For Sale sign on and use it for test drives etc if anyones interested. Cheapest so far is £52 for 2weeks - RipOff!!!

52 quid for 2 weeks aint too bad

i just had to pay 50 quid for ten days as i am borrowing a friends van in the near future and its uninsured.

think you may struggle to get it for less

Doubt you'll get it any cheaper, most of that cost will be setup/admin fee.

It can sit on the drive uninsured then, i only wanted to put it in a layby on the main road ForSale

insure it noramally for a year, but pay by installments.

when car is sold, cancell policy

i just insured my 3dr, it has no engine, windows etc but i needed to do it to dive other cars lol, cost me £170, well £190 cos ill be paying monthly

that was with budget too

So long as the driver of the car and the person who parks it there has insurance that covers it(other cars) I reckon you are covered.

norwich union do a "pay as you drive" not sure how much will be for you

doesnt that invole fitting a box to the car to calculate mileage? Alot of faff for a car hes just selling.

I have no NCD on it so how can i insure it as my sole car ?
