Default a reslut, well, sort of

a quick bit of history

the other day, when i was shifting the mags, i drove from one house to the other, all of about 100 yards and then parked up
i was indicating a fair way ahead of where i wasnted to stop because there was a bus right up my arse
my road is designated a 20mph speed limit due to the fact there are 3 schools on it and there are loads of speed humps etc
anyway, i park teh car up, getout, and the bus is literaly 4 feet from the rear bumper and the driver is going ape shit
i shrugged my shoulders and went inside
there followed all manner of beeping and wild gesticulating from the driver of the bus who eventually got out and walked around my car before getting on the phone
so i went outside to see what the problem was
"can you move your car ebcause i want to get past"
"why have you stopped so close so that you can't get around?"
"i don't care about that, please move your car so that i can pass, you are holding up all your aunties and uncles"
"whats that supposed to mean? but no, i don't think so"
and off i walked
5 minutes go past and the passengers start to get off and walk away so i went back again
"you are going to have to call someone to back you up fella"
"i'm on the radio to the police, they will sort you out"
"i'll make you a deal, you punch me out an inspectors ticket and i'll move the car"
and then he closed the door on me
all this has taken 15 minutes so far and there are 2 buses in the distance that can't move because they won't be able to get past the buss thats stuck in the road behind me
so to took down the reg, the bus number, his running number etc and moved the car
he still made it appear that i was in his way by over dramitising the turning of the steering wheel and he slowed down right as he went past me and gave me the evil eye
so i complained to the bus company in a bit more eloquent terms that i've described here
i did put in to the email that i could appreciate that he was running late, but what i didn't appreciate was the bullying and intimidading way he was using his bus to hurry me along, nor did i appreciate the fact that he made out is if he was carrying a whole shed load of my relatives

yesterday i got this reply

years of being a bus driver and how to work the system means i had a bit better understanding of who and where to complain to so i think i may get a proper apology from this

and to all you who are going to say "you should have just moved the car rather than have all this agro", well, you had to be there in that situation and, if he'd have said "look, sorry mate, i didn't realise you were going to stop, my fault, can you just move up a little to let me past" i would have done so, but he went all agro so

i can't find the email i sent up but i also mentioned that i should have really got my camera and taken pictures and then waited for the officials to turn up i did say that i felt sorry for teh punters getting onto a bus driven by a moron and it wasn't their fault they were being held up and that it would have been a waste of their resources, and the polices, if they had had to send soemone out to have a look and back him up

so no ian beale pictures

So what is the result?
All it looks like you got is a generic "we've received your email and will look at it in about a six months" type reply

He was in the wrong though, too close to the vehicle in front. I would have done the same.

Happens all the time at my Mums house, you have to reverse into the drive, so slow down, indicate, reverse lights on, then some idiot pulls up right behind you and waves his fist/finger, when they have to reverse to go round you.

i honestly don't know whats funny about that

as for reversing, you ca't reverse a london bus without a banksman, which means either plod or a garage official coming out and watching him back
i was on another bus today and the driver went too close to the arse end of a lorry at a bus stop
he backed up without a second look so, techincally, i could have reported him too, but it wasn't a hinderenace to me so i didn't
if i'd have been coming out of the petrol station and he's hit me then thats a whole other ball game..............
