anyone know if the escort mk3 and mk4 carpets are exactly the same , fitting wise not colour ?

 

They are not exactly the same, but are interchangable.
A have a Mk3 and a Mk 4, and on the Mk3 the chassis number is stamped in front of the cross member on the front floorpan, on the Mk4 its stamped on the rear floorpan, so the flap in the carpet would be in the wrong place...

(I dont know if this is the same on all Mk3's and 4's though. i.e. All Mk 3's stamped at the front floorpan and all Mk4's stamped in the back)
