Hello peeps

Right then.... i need some advice

I am looking at coming up to Blackpool this weekend for a bit of a break with my new ladyfriend

She has never been to the Pool before and i just want to have a good fun weekend and get away from all my shit of late

What i want to know is

Any GOOD hotels
Nice places to eat in and around the town
GOOD NICE pubs to go to that aint full of chavvy twats
And good things to do of an day and evening ect ect.....
(Any good strip clubs )

pub near stus has a nice carvery, theres a hilton hotel on the sea front and theres a friendly member of staff there you may reconise and im sure she will ask the other staff to look after you

stripclub ive never been to as its not my thing

THERES THE FUCKING PLEASURE BEACH AND DONKEY RIDES FOR THE DAY TIME, christ you never been blackpool

also the horse and carridge ride my missus found fun

 

Why would you want to take your new girlfriend to a stripclub?

How far away from the nightlife is it????......Walking distance ect

i think you bneed to stay up near the north pier.

near the centre of the pubs for the night time activities.

there are some big/expensive hotels jus tpast there so may do you.

be better when the locals post up.

Cheers mate....... I am just looking for Hotels and tbh the best one withe the best reviews is the Big Blue one.....Unless, like you said any of the locals know of any better ones that are closer to the action

 

Tiff, when i was seeing a friend of Nicole and Stu's she took me to an italien in the centre that was really nice - small and intimate. That is right in the centre, im sure Stu will be able to tell you what it's called as i can't remember. A few miles from blackpool is Lytham St Anne's. Again i went there - a place called Joya i think, which was a cut above blackpool.

As for a hotel, blackpool has a Hilton - that's where i'd go, as the others are pretty grotty. Nicole is the best person to advise as she works in the industry.

Hilton is right near the action to - big blue is further south and i heard it wasn't as good...

 

Just checked the Hilton and there is no rooms avalible for this weekend.................................

Evening Tiff, glad to hear your feeling up to a night out and hopefully you will be able to brush recent events aside for 48hrs eh mate?

Big blue is a big hotel, should be very good as its the officiall BPB hotel for thiose with a few quid to spend.

The Hilton is of course the place to be, but if its full its full, so thats not an option for you.

We have Travel inns of course... not Hiltons, but i like them as you know exactly what you will be getting.

Clubs, strip clubs, bars, Dan and I are your men. We have all the advice you will ever need in that department. hell, we could even show you round.

 

For the bars I am your man, and for your strip clubs Stu is your man......................

And for the gaybars Butch is your man.

well me and the mrs spent the day on the sea front and had a good day wondering round and enjoying the sea side, you will find plenty to do there, pubs in the evening theres loads to choose from you will proberly find schfields and lionels good fun with your mrs, as for food there are some lovely looking resturants in the town round the corner from the pubs i listed above just wander round and see what you fancy thats what we did

Like you said Stu.....if the Hiltons full then thats that. I think The Big Blue looks the next best thing as the reviews are very good

Basically i want to go out for a nice evening meal on Saturday followed by a few nice pubs and maybe onto a good club...baring in mind it is me and the new gaffer i guess a hard dance club is out the question

If you could give me a few pointers for places to go and places to go during the day that would be great

Is there still the haunted house thing that makes you run out into the middle of a packed pub there??????

If so where abouts is it as i have been in it but cant remember where it was

 

During the day, use blackpool for its qualities, arcades, shopping, nice cafes, amusements, fairgrounds, bear grab machines etc etc.

In the evening I would suggest Soul Suite, which is opposite Walkabout, a very good place to go if you are out as a couple.

 

The hauted house is Pasage de Terror at the entrance to the pleasure beach mate, proper scary.

 

I'll be in Blackpool too this weekend at place called Riffs wherever that is

As for the haunted house....... ....she will shit herself

I take it all the bars and stuff are at the north end of the promanade

 

I just booked the Big Blue for 2 of us for 2 nights....£210

 

I'll be escaping as soon as the gig is over for my own safety

 

can only sugest the devre, `herons reach`, its the best in blackpool! stay there every time.

the facilitys are top quality, pool, sauna, steam, gym, 18 hole golf course, driving range,

right the price about 140 to 180 per night! with breakfast and dinner,

but check out www.laterooms.com where it can be had at about 90 per night with breakfast only, just to add the best breakfast you've ever had!

oh and its about 6/7 for a cab to syndicate! or town centre

 

The De Vere is the best hotel in Blackpool by far with amazing facilities.

For that kind of money, well worth a stay.


So is DirtyDonnas truck stop with extras from a 5er and rooms from £9.BARGAIN.

Big Blue is a nice place Tiffer, and its away from the RifRaf scufflers in Central Blackpool.

Fancy meeting up for a swift beer or is it just A You and the Lady weekend pal? No offence taken if so.. just done the same ourselves last weekend.
