CVH CPS hole measurements
Hi,
I know this question has been asked a million times before and I've read the answer on here a few times, but can someone give me the measurements of where to drill the CPS hole in an MFi CVH?
Someone's posted a diagram on here before but the search only seems to show things in the last month and I can't find it.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Mark

I spend too much time on these EFI conversion threads don't i
It's my diagram i drew it up a few months ago as i knew it would be needed

Obviously to look at its very un-accurate, there is no scale to the drawing, but follow the dimensions and it will be spot on (measurements checked then re-checked

Thanks mate that's exactly the diagram I was looking for
. Should both the vertical measurements on the right be 31mm? I'm guessing they should be but I thought I'd check as one 31mm measurement is 3 times bigger than the other. Hence what you said about the diagram being inaccurate. Also I assume these measurements were made with the block totally straight upright?
I've finally started the process of fitting an EFi Turbo into my Mk3 Cabriolet - I've been stripping it down all afternoon. Can't wait to get it back on the road with considerably more power. It looks totally standard from the outside so should be a good sleeper...

Correct, the diagram is majorly out of scale as i chucked it together on paint and then realised afterwards it was on the piss, and i couldn't be arsed to amend it
Dimensions are definately right though, i stripped a block down the scrap yard for the crank, and i also obviously had the EFI flywheel, and measured it all up after
Ive just measured up the alloy CPS holder as someone said a while ago that the holder itself is only actually 30mm in diameter.
On my verniers its 30.11mm, but the hole on the block had an ever so slight taper which made it hard, mark the block up as above and then find the center of the circle and drilla 30mm hole, but to be honest 0.9mm is going will barely make any difference at all, you'll probably find even after drilling a 30mm hole its slightly oversize.
