hi all,ive jst got a triple gauge plate to put wer the top air vents go,only thing is tho how do u remove it all ??? have tryed stickin my hands rwd the bk to see if there is clips holdin it in.any help is much gr8ful as i dnt wanna rip my dash apart jst to get it out

There is deffo clips on the sides,been a long time since I removed them so not too sure on best way to do it
Think I just pulled mine out while pushing a screwdriver carefully between vents and dash

 

Just checked my manual
Says use screwdriver from rear,lever clips out of vent at same time as pulling vents out,clips should stay on dash

 

As said there are clips one each side on the vertical bit, bloody fiddly, I found an old(plastic) ruler broken into a piece about 5" long was best as it was wide and just oput on the back by clip and shove towards your self worked.

assuming youhave the pre 92 spec dash, they will pop out
but they are held in with some awesome metal clips that require a fair bit of fiddling to get out
don't forget that the vent pipes are also held on by some more little bastard clips

if you take the centre clock and stuff out you might be able to get your hand up from behind and push, but don't lever against the out dash as it'll mark it

alternativly, if you have acess to a slide hammer, pop it in and then bang fuck out of the vents but they are right cunts to get out so you have my sympathy

kev,got big probs wiv my brakin system,the electric hydraulic pump that sit underneth the master cylinder is leakin,found this out wen i started that bleed the brakes

Where abouts on the pump is it coming from???????

 

frm the electric hydrualic pump the seal is fukd,went to ford to see if i cud get a new seal an they dnt sell them,but u can buy the pump tho for bout £800 quid the guy said so ive asked a lad of ere who's breakin his cossie for his unit. oh ive managed to get the vents out cheers m8,soon sliped out wen i got the screewdriver in there
