CAr tax....
Highest rate is £300 at the mo so can't be right, going up to £400 next year though for highest ones.
I think all scoob, evo, skyline owners should pay more, and cossie owners should have free tax as they have the best cars!!

i totally disagree....
the liner is by far a better car than the 2wd saph, and 4wd saph ive had...ok, cant say about the escort, as ive never owned one...
however.....
for some reason, i want another cossie....
and i dont know why....i want a 3dr, but love 4wd...maybe a 4wd 3dr...

It was a joke!!, whilst I admire the EVO and such like for engineering advances I would not have one, (despite having the money), I bought a £3k cossie and spent 3.5-4K on doing that up instead.
Driven lots of evos, scoobs but just so BORING for me but each to their own and all that.
Best jap car I drove was COLT LANCER 2000 TURBO or STARION, followed by RA 28 CELICA.
Power per pound cossie is light years ahead of all though!!

I don't disagree at all that it's a rip-off. It is. End of.
But if you want to drive a car like that (which is your choice, no-one's holding a gun to your head) and you can afford to drive a car that attracts that level of tax duty then you have to pay it. If you don't want to pay that tax, drive a Prius.
