FYI, The web names were offered to Doug for what they cost me but he

As for ECU's, Doug didnt want the S8 due to a throttle response problem
that I actually fixed ages ago but he couldnt wait so decided to use an L8
as the car needed a remap.
I dont have a problem with that but you seem to.

Dougs words were simon's ecu was shit....so L8 was requierd cause its better.

Personally never tried it so can't comment.

Doug is entitled to his opinion, I am sure Doug is big enough to speak for himself
and certainly never said anything like that to me.

I am proud of my "shit" ecu and it gave me much enjoyment when designing it.
There are many high power cars running it even a few mapped by Karl himself.

well, doug took me for a spin a few weeks back, and it was not running FULL boost, and he said was still over 500bhp lol

all i know is, IT WAS FUCKING FAST!

I think we are trying to guess what Dingy's car made on the chassis dyno, with 2.3 BAR held boost....

Anyway, based on a tatty compressor map I found (on parchment paper), 2.3 BAR equates to 538 BHP - so that is my guess

 

I wasn't slaggin off simon at all, infact his coil pack board in my car has cured my missfire.

The rest of the stuff i posted as far as knew was common knowledge guess i was a little mistaken.

Car has not been mapped yet so no idea on power....

 

Mine makes 486 ATW on 2.2 bar @8k

I have a more effcient intercooler, bigger inlet and a freer flowing exhaust tho.

Take from that what you will

 

Whatever the power out come is, it's a cool road/tack car
