I cant comment on the park, But Newquay IS the bollocks! You not been there before ?

dont worry about the park and reviews, its just somewhere to lay down for the night and sleep

 

The PF pissup in Newquay was at the Trevelgue park I think. Don't expect it to be wonderful but its the best your gonna get! Showers aint that great but putupwithable!! Not far from the town centre on a bus either!

I'm staying at Travelogue next week, going down on the Mini run. Its ok if you're going for the weekend, and the night life is great. I won't recommend it if you wanted to take your family down. If its just a bed for the night you want, it'll be 'ok'

A load of us went 2 years ago and as far as i know didnt have any problems with the site only thing we found out was if you leave any rubbish outside your tent you will get bombarded with seagulls at stupid o'clock in the morning

Bus was only a pound from the site into town too and goes quite regularly

 

Shows how much I paid attention

 

Seriously though, If your going with loads of Uni mates, You wont have a shit time...

 

Also IMO net reviews on travel sites / hotels etc are allways full of the worst reviews,

ive come to the conclusion, if 100 people stay at a hotel, for example say 25 have a bad experiance, 4 will leave a review, the 75 who had no issues, you'll be lucky if 1 leaves a review.

have booked cheep places with piss poor reviews, only to get there and find nothing bad about the stay in general, but ive never come back and left a good review on the site with the poor reviews, lazyness!

 

Agree with you there, when we booked to go to tenerife we sat and looked at review sites and they all were bad, but we had a really good holiday and the hotel was no where near as bad as everyone had said.

 

Newquay is great , going down there at the end of may for run to the sun.

Teazers Lap Dancing Bar,Berties Club,Sailors Nightclub,The Beach,Barracuda,Tall Trees

These are the best ones IMO, Sailors being the better one ( its straight too!)

 

My best night was at Berties Going back this summer

 

Stayed at Trevelgue in the early 90's, Was the only place then to let a big group stay (20 odd lads)

Caravans were past their best, but it was a bed to lay a pissed up head,
Club was ok but we spent every night in the town centre.

Going end of June for a long weekend staying in a B+B on Georges hill, 5 mins stagger from the centre,
Plus weve got access to the institute so starting off on dirt cheap beer
