the T38 is a TT unit only as they developed it, you will probably have a T4 front and T34 .63 back made as a hybrid unit which is not a T38.

a lot of companys do this turbo but its not called a T38

Phil

Best bet is to get it all fitted and then run it at a Know RR and not one that gives big fig, Then be happy with it and what you have achieved.

SECS....i will send you a cheque for £20 so you can buy yourself a 4 pack of Special Brew.....to calm you down...Its funny you know as one day when/if i meet up with some of you..its gonna be interestring to see if you have the same outlook you have here... Cause in real life everyone so far has been nice to me

Spadge i didnt big you up...(although i have said in other posts about the cheap deal you gave me)because you caused a fuss and got heated over the fooking idle speed screw which i thought was abit OTT as you came across very aggressive...

Mark is my turbo the same as the T38 as in the genuine T38 has a bigger exhaust and comp wheel????

PS you only sent me an ECU Simon no more than £6 tops But you will still get the £20 as you are obviously a poor person.

Well...if a T34 .63 can just about make 400bhp...it makes sense with the bigger wheels in mine that 450 WILL be acheivable..as thats my aim which should be plenty for a road car with minimal lag

50bhp from bigger wheels in STANDARD size housings?

Think how much bigger those wheels can be, not much.

And really its the housing that dictates amount of flow, and with stock housings your having about the same as every other .63 T34, just over 400bhp on a good day

Phil, I agree. It will do around 450 bhp but greys are flat out at this BHP.
Generally greys are good for 430 bhp on standard fuel pressure.
If you turn the fuel pressure up to get the extra BHP, the idle CO will suffer.

As i am a Bosch dealer greys will do MAX 460bhp on the absolute limit 450 is stretching but it WILL do it...TBH i aint really interseted in max power flat out....this engine will produce massive boost spikes in 1st 2nd 3rd where it aint held for long enuff to do damage....remember its flat out 5th gear that WILL melt my engine if running high boost....I garantee this engine will piss any production road car in most scenarios other than top speed and thats all thats matters aint it?...For that matter it will piss any 600 plus Cossie on the road IMO..infact in everyones opinion surely 450 bhp thats lo lag.....or 600 plus and 5k till power comes in?

Phil, My car has pretty much a similar spec mechanically to yours and
I get 2.2 bar(32 psi) @ 3200 rpm !

I use 700 cc Jap injectors though

I agree with your comments, I would rather have low lag drivability that narrow
rev band big power but these big power cars are now getting less laggy as
technology gets better......

Just seen a 720 bhp cossie lump on a engine dyno thats on big boost @3900 rpm.
Thats no worse than a T4 equipped car in terms of power band !

What a load of bollocks

Ever heard of changing down a gear to be in the powerband? Providing your in the right gear youl never be below 5k so makes no difference and the more powerful car is LONG gone.

And like Simon said, these modern 600bhp lumps have big power from lower than that anyhow... (Its cams and turbos that make it like that, not high compression )

Oh yea IMA, my 3dr i had for 3 years was sooo slow

Pretty identical engine spec to your engine you making now, but a lot less weight Never owned a quick car

And this bloody GTR will be a different thing altogether.

And what difference does it make what someones drove, if you know how to drive, and if you know that if your revving to 7k+ the revs wont go below 5k on a gearchange in a cossie (unless your a poof), you know what you said about it beating 600+bhp cars is crap

Says a man who a week ago was going to run 8 injectors, big roller bearing turbo,5 bar map,S8 ecu etc etc.....And has now going down the 400hp route as he can't afford to do the former
