hi apparantly with regards to the tank keep the old diesel tank then you have to take the swerl pot out of the turbo tank and weld it in the diesel tank (tricky dont read health and safety book 1st) and you still need the fuel pump as you allready know, this is what i have been told by someone who has had his done hope this helps if you want anymore info i try and help.

Hi, I have a RS Turbo van, started with normal tank, no swirl pot. It ran ok as long as there was over 1/4 of a tank of petrol. I thought about getting a swirl pot welded in, but ended up using a S1 feul tank. I used a hammer to knock the lip up on the tank, after a few attempts it went in.

Hope this is useful.

How did you mount the S1 tank in your van?

Because normally the strap hooks into the rear suspension's centre mount, but vans dont have this as they have leaf springs........
