is an XR3i box ok for an S2?

i want to rebuild my gearbox, but am now coming to the costly jobs on my track car project, so I was thinking of maybe buying a couple of cheap Xr3i box's to use in the meantime, asI have seen some dirt cheap and really if i break em on track its no big loss, is it, I know they dont have LSD, but thats not really a big issue with me, or am i missing summit?

but why buy loads of cheap boxes n keep replacing one... buy one GOOD earbox, and have it never fail! lol
bernie's boxes are a LOT cheaper than you'd think!!! try him!

Anyway back to the question about the gearboxes... Id just use cheap boxes if your giving it PUREEE abuse then of course it will break but what wont?

just dont corner TOO hard on them coz if you lift a wheel you're fooked without an LSD
(not that the LSD helps that much tho... lol)

gra it,ll pay to get a proppa box the 2 box theory is good 1 in 1 spare but you soon find the spare will be used in no time and your rebuild costs will end up costing more than a proppa bernie box within 12 months
i went through 8 in 12 months say 150 a time rebuild see what i mean i was lucky as was working as a courier for the reconditioners
i used a 3i box in my old s2 and the only difference is the lsd you dont get 1 in a 3i but mint for burnouts bit of a bastard to drive hard though as it pulls it all over the road
