Just changed the rad on my 3 door recently and one thing that occured to me while I was doing the job was my 500 intercooler was covered in dead flys, wasps, moths etc all of which were blocking up the core restricting the airflow through the cooler, which must had had the knock on effect of not letting as much air through to the rad.

So I blew the whole thing over with an airline now I dont know how much difference that has made in real terms

BUT if 25% of your intercooler or rad core is restriced by 'road kill' surely that must make a difference



Do other people blow their rads & coolers over with an airline regularly through the summer ?

go a bit faster and the bugs normally push right through the core and on to the floor
