My Escort Cosworth possibly has to go – It has just sat in the garage for the last 18 months so it would be better going to a good home and get finished off and used.

It is getting sold as a trimmed rolling shell, this is due to the fact that the engine let go on a track day and I haven’t found one yet. The engine has been removed and I was going to transplant something different into it but have not got round to it so it needs engine complete with loom, ecu, etc etc, exhaust, gearbox and the 18” wheels do not come with it as they are going onto my road car.

What you do get is a Escort RS Cosworth bodyshell finished in Imperial Blue, Complete with all lights, Cloth Recaro hex trim, fuel tank, pump, fuel/brake lines, brakes (all were new 500 miles ago), 3.9 Uprated Rear LSD, AVO coilovers all round, Complete 909 ford motorsport bushed all round, All new wheel bearings on all corners 500 miles ago. The car has had £1000’s spent on it. Any viewing welcome. Please don’t make me a stupid bid because I wont sell it I will just keep it until I find the time to finish it off and start doing my track days again.

I do have some bits to finish it off like interior kick panels and sill trims, I also have the upper spoiler ready to fit.

The Cosworth does not have a Cosworth logbook but does have a 3 door escort logbook if you want to use it on the road.

it was just built up from bits over about 3 years, was just going to have it a track car. Got it painted in blue cos im sick of just seeing white ones!

 

so is it an escos shell then with a different ID?

does it have the VIN plates on the shell? what do they match up to?

 

why does it have the 3door escort book????

 

its clear why do people make it sound like some fake its a escort rs cosworth body shell that was built up they come with no id every thing about it is really the only thing different with this is that ford didn't put it together I bought 2 escort rs cosworth body shell form ford at £5000 each and built them up I mean it the same thing as re shelling a car in to another new body shell people do it all the time and just use the id. it didn't have any to start with so its not like ringing it even if you did what to put id on it
