Default Battery/car drain tester, where from?

i used to use a Gunstun (sp) car multi meter to do this, but since has stopped working.

At the moment i have the normal multimeter, but this cant check battery drains.

Cheers for any advise

Danny

why, doesn't it measure current?
cos if it's a multimeter it should do
just disconnect one of the battery terminals and put it in line. (just don't start it or draw a high current....)

Yeah my new one has current, but I've never tried it to be fair,

the old one had a setting on it, and the guage had good, bad and ok, along with a graph to say how long it would take to drian a full battery (also had different charts for different size battery's)

i'll try my one on my car in abit.
