Yes it does, but if you take a look in parts for sale regularly, we have peeps listing 15 items eacha nd then Bttt.ing them and filling the whole front page with their own parts... its not fair to others

 

It's easy enough to do a search on the relevant "Parts for sale" section to find what you want even if it's in a post along with some other stuff.

Ok,
So lets discuss it. There have been 4 or 5 posts recently complaining about the room becoming a free for all and not many people seem to want to do anything other than complain about it, at least Gus has got on and done something about it..

When the gold membership rules were decided on, we probably pulled 7million hits or so, 12 months ago, now weve tripled that and its getting busier and harder to managem so what do you suggest as an alternative solution mate? Im 100% open to better ideas to improve PF

 

guys you will find that this is mainly to do with traders as far as im aware,cos there the ones with usally loads of parts for sale.
it shouldnt really affect normal users unless they are breaking a car and so on

This is exactly right, but then why are traders using this room? Surely they have their own room???? I cant post in theirs so why can they post in this one? IT seems to me that there are only a couple of culprits who seem to have an excess of ads, I have myself only have 2 and most others keep it to 2 or 3 as well, why dont we just sort out the ones that are placeing FAR too many ads and leave the reat alone??

I think you will find it aint the traders that are at fault ( not all anyway )
We are all to blame and we should all accept it and stop it and it will make it better for everyone

 

Mate i am paying 4.5 times what you pay to post parts for sale so i think it is right that i use the whatever part of the for sale section i like to advertise! As long a s people know there are traders as well as private sellers advertising in there then whats the problem??
If i had to go back to posting only in the traders section then i would insist that all the fookin free loader part time traders that have just paid 20 quid to trade in the other section pay up and move also

 

I have no problem with that spadge, what pisses me of is trying to find my single post that is now 5 pages back and only 2 days old because people btt their multiple posts instead of making one for the parts they are selling at that point in time!

When a certain person "btt's" his 10 posts thats most peoples single posts off the first page hth. I am open to any other sugestion as it pisses me off and now i am able to do something about it i will try as im sure it pisses others off.. spadge included

I am sure the 4.5 times u pay includes ya banner etc, and why should that give you a right to post in every single forum, I thought thats why we have a traders forum?? This aint a attack on u traders as you all do a top job and I have personally dealt with u spadge on a regular basis (Still got ya compression tester will bring it on monday ) but why have a traders section if traders are gonna post in the parts for sale section??
if peeps are regularly selling to make a profit, then yes they should be paying more than their £20. this needs to be modded and dealt with by the web team.
As for only having one post then no i disagree, and i will be ontinuing to post when I see fit. I am a irregular poster in that section so i will continue to use it as I have done and as was agreed when I paid my £20 to enable me to do so.
