Default Cossie Crank Spigot Bearing

Mine's knackered so I've got a new one to go in but...it's getting the bastard out.

What's the easiest way to get them out?

TIA

A SNUG but not tight fitting piece of wood dowel in the middle, after packing with grease as much as you can get in there, then whallop the dowel in ther and grease forces it out so I'm told, never worked for me though, I have a specific puller now!!

I'd heard about the grease trick. Looks like I may have to get the proper tool.

Thanks anyway.

Forgot another way is to CRUSH them in, with a thin drift, and then pop them out, have done this a few times, got pissed off with missing with hammer and hitting my ever swelling hand, so bought puller!!!
