I want to stop folk taking the piss and browsing all day getting nothing done

How do I restrict or ban all access O/S is window's 2003!

Any help is appreciated, I dont have a clue!

What you mean is wanna stop everyone accessing the internet from any PC on your network then?

I am not admin, we are connected through a main server the boss's p.c.

No, I just want to stop access on the one p.c. not all of them.

Is there no way of doing that?

You meant you all use one PC's internet connection?

You can remove all the internet explorer icons.

yeh but if you press 'windows key' and F then you get the "find" box up... then all you have ot do is type in a web address and then IE opens up... plus any link (like in word) will open IE up...

i dont know if you can, without getting specialist software or something... i know you can remove the shared connection entirely...

Go into Internet Explorer on the PC and set the proxy to 127.0.0.1

without a server and the ability to user proper group policy, i'd go for that too. Or put the machine on a fixed IP address and give it fake dns servers
