as this has benn mentioned before

i took one of my seat badges down to get a quote on having some made
as mine is smashed and i need some making

problem is i have to have a min of a 100 and the tooling made

now this would be a 1 time only as it works out quite expensive

works out at around £430 for the hundred badges

so im looking at peple who are willing and want these badges to be made

this is not a for sale add as i will not pay that much as i only want a min of 4 badges

so the more people who want them and can commit into to helping out funds the better and cheaper it will be

i will have to pay a depoist if it goes a head but dont know how much yet

i will answer all questions as i can and if people are unsure i can photocopy the quote and send it to them aswell

obvioulsy if there is only a certain number of people who are interested then the badges will be divided into equal amounts then they can do with theres what ever they choose

if people could spread the word that possible remkaes o the badges will be made then id appriciate it

the company says they will be almost exact replicas of the badges with teh pins on the back to fit into the seats aswell

 

i will deffo have 4 of them

Benn 304R is looking to get his Rouse back on the road, so je maybe interested too

 

i think it would be a wise investment for any rouse owner especially as they are like frogs eggs

had a look at my broke one today and alls it is is a cast frame with cast rouse sport in it then enamlel poured in id say until its sets?

but could be wrong

if anyone can find someone who can help us out and narrow it down to say 50 r get it cheaper, i dont mind sending my badge to people for them to pass on to see if it can be made, but i will need it back and it will be that persons responibilty to replace it if it gets lost

anyway of cantacting the andy rouse himself to see where he got them made? as they may still have the mould somewhere if there still going

spoke to the other company today and went round there to show them the badge

they said they can make it, and either do 25 or 50

prices are for

25 £8.25 each (total £206.25)

50 £4.79 each (total £239.50)

but and a big BUT they carnt do the metal tabs that go into the seat, he said these are just put on after with glue which you can get from jewllers etc

but he can put pins on them and have like a rivit fittiing that goes on the pins

i carnt get a pic as i dropped my camera and its dead

but imagine a pin then a fitting that goes over the pin like a normal badge

 

So you've gone from £43 each to less than a fiver - good work, but what a pisstake by the first company

the first company was only do a min order of a 100 at around £5 a badge
plus vat and then the tooling aswell at £75 plus vat but they willd o teh proper tags aswell

the new company i went and seen today carnt do the tags but can make teh badges and do me either min of 25 or 50 which is even better plus its gone down 200 quid lol

but they can only do pins on teh back and rivit holders so dont really know how it will hold, id imagine it will be fine, but also it will take 3weeks for the badges to be made

or they can come blankland make you own fittings

with the originals alls it is is a bit of metal with a point on it heres a pic i already have of



these are just glued onto the back of the badge anyhow with some super strong glue so i may get them blank and make my own as its only some thin metal that has to wrap round the foam and hold in place

it works out £51.50 for 6 badges thats between 4 of us
then 1 spare lol just need to know who is interested then we maybe able to get the go ahead and get these done

We put one pair on ebay between us for sale and we prob get all are money back on 2 badges

so we need to work out how many people want these and go from there also what do they want pins or blanks as i ddont think i can do both

im not fussed either way

 

Anyway you want them made mate TBH i only need them for the dash as my seat ones are fine but i could always cut the pins off.

I will be seeing ARK1 tomorrow i tell him to get his cash out

even £60 each is not to bad 4 of us thats job done.

we could put a few on ebay and split the profits if you want
so in the end it will prob cost us nothing for the ones we need
