Trying to find out which colours came from the factory and which year and model they were fitted to

Any info appreciated

well theres red green n blue

and the small turbo cossie newer looking one

the green one came in the later saff 4x4's think the ones that had a cat

not sure about the other ones,

think red was in the 3drs n early saffs n blue was big turbo escos

i think anyway, someone will correct me if im wrong

 

Red was RS500,3dr,and all non cat equipped sapphires, green is for sapphires WITH cat and blue is for the Large Turbo Escort Cossie.

the YBP cam cover is different and should be silver lol

most have been swapped and painted over the years anyhow

Black for some non fords fitted with YB's

 

Mine is Gold

 

The YB, thats the engine fitted to all cosworths except the small turbo escort?

Besides the turbo is there any differences between the YB and the later YBP?

Management and block is slightly different I think.

 

I remember some plonker at extreme motorsport trying to tell me my escos was a ringer because it had a blue rocker cover....twat
