Default 3door help

wondering if anyone can help, when driving the car on the odd ocassion when u put your foot down on the accelator im getting a miss fire, once u back off it clears and the power goes down again. Red engine light then comes on in the dash. Thought it might of been the phase sensor so changed it, the dist cap and rotor arm at the same time but the problems still there, any ideas would be great. thanks.

If the red light comes on then short the two wires in the ecu plug and read the codes, should point you in the right direction and you can follow the breakout box checks in the manual.

"Had the crank sensor regapped", diy man it is so easy 10 minutes.
As for the misfire might pay to do the wiggle test on the connector for the CPS as one end is still old pins in housing.
